Dr. Tse joined Irving Pet Hospital in January 2021 as an associate veterinarian. He grew up in Hong Kong, and in 2006, he graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in molecular biology. He also worked in the laboratory animal unit at the university. In 2013, he graduated from the University of Sydney School of Veterinary Science. His father was a veterinarian, so it was easy to become interested in veterinary medicine. He finds diagnosing diseases to be satisfying, and his special interests include internal medicine, pain management and veterinary public health. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association.
When he’s not working, Dr. Tse enjoys Chinese calligraphy and cooking as well as playing bridge and chess.
