Lindsay Hom, DVM

Lindsay Hom, DVM

Dr. Lindsay Hom joined Irving Pet Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian in August 2025. She has special interests in surgery, dentistry, rehabilitation, and cardiology, and is a proud member of the San Francisco Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. For Dr. Hom, the most rewarding part of veterinary medicine is helping pets live their healthiest, happiest lives.

A San Francisco native, Dr. Hom earned her B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Education from the University of California, Davis in 2021, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 2025. Her passion for the field began at home with her childhood pets—Monkey and Cookie (both cats) and Mariah (a loyal dog)—who showed her how deeply veterinary care can strengthen the human–animal bond.

Outside of work, Dr. Hom enjoys running with her husky/shepherd mix, Caribou—an endearing “certified couch potato” who howls for breakfast and shows off tricks like spin, bow, roll over, and five variations of paw/shake. When she’s not out on a run, you’ll likely find her crocheting or cooking something delicious to share with family and friends.
