Katie joined the team in November 2023, after earning a B.S. in Ecology and Evolution from San Jose State University. Her love for animals has been lifelong, but it wasn’t until her dog’s serious illness that she decided to pursue a career in animal care. Katie has two bunnies, Luna (7 years old) and Benny (6 years old), as well as a Golden Retriever named Bella (3 years old). In her free time, Katie can often be found outdoors, exploring parks or trails with Bella or engaging in other outdoor activities.
