Dr. Tumang received his DVM degree from the University of the Philippines. After fulfilling the requirements of the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates by the American Veterinary Medical Association, he started as a shelter veterinarian before working as a general practitioner. Dr. Tumang comes to us after having recently sold his practice in Pleasanton. You may have seen him around here before as he started as a relief veterinarian. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association and the San Francisco Veterinary Medical Association and is a recipient of the 2018-2019 CVMA Don Low Fellowship in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Dr. Tumang has special interests in dermatology, emergency and small animal internal medicine.
He and his wife like to go on cruises and land tours. In his spare time, he tries hard to be a cook and likes to catch up on his favorite TV shows.
